Condition is a problem with old publications not intended to be kept, paper was not always of best quality, noplated staples can corrode and rust, and not everyone looked after their publications carefully. we give size, approximate number of pages, date or volume number, condition and a featured article out of much more content.

Our grading system is as follows:

• M (Mint): Superb condition, better than the usual quality of a new copy as sold on news stands
• NM (Near Mint): Almost as good as Mint, as new with no noticeable defects
• VF (Very Fine): Carefully kept but showing signs of having been read and handled
• VG (Very Good): Noticeable wear, slight staple rusting, page browning, minor folds and creases etc.
• G (Good): Complete but well-read, maybe slight tears or splits, staple rusting, page browning, written-on, slight tape repair evidence etc.
• F (Fair): Complete but poor condition, rips, tears, soiling, writing, tape repairs, discolouration all evident.
• P (Poor): Very damaged and/or soiled, maybe pages clipped or missing, not really collectable unless incredibly rare.
